with a Gentle Touch
Zoom whitening is designed to transform your smile and get you feeling better about the way that you look and feel every single day.
What is Zoom Whitening?
Whitening your teeth has never been easier than by using the Zoom professional whitening system. Zoom has been used for years to help deliver quality results that are 10 to 14 shades whiter than when you came into the office. What’s more, whitening takes just an hour in the office, so there are no messy trays or weeks worth of waiting required. Zoom whitening is ideal for most patients because of how easy, quick and effective it is at removing stains and discoloration.
Why is Zoom Whitening needed?
You may want Zoom whitening because you’re planning a big event like a wedding, graduation or reunion. Zoom whitening is done in just one hour in our office, so it’s a quicker and more effective way of whitening teeth that doesn’t require weeks of wearing daily trays or strips. You may choose to whiten your teeth if they’re stained and deeply discolored. Some of the different factors that can contribute to staining include:
• Chewing tobacco
• Drinking coffee or tea
• Drinking soda
• Eating staining foods (berries, chocolate)
• Natural aging
Who's a candidate for Zoom Whitening?
We can first perform an examination to determine if Zoom whitening is right for you. Whitening typically on works to lighten the color of your natural teeth and should have no effect on restorations like veneers, crowns and bridge work. Zoom whitening is ideal for patients who have been to see a dentist at least once in the past year. It’s great for individuals who want quick and effective treatment without needing to wait.
What can you expect with Zoom Whitening?
We begin by protecting your gums and applying a professional-grade whitening gel to the teeth. A bright light is used to both warm and accelerate the effects of this whitening gel. After about a half hour, the old gel is removed and we’ll apply new gel. The light is replaced over the teeth and you’ll sit comfortably in our office for another half hour. After about an hour of full treatment, your teeth will be whiter and brighter. We’ll give you instructions on how to care for your new smile and how to prevent staining in the future.
